<<     A-Z     >>

The Burggarten is part of the former imperial private garden and was created in 1818 in the English style by Ludwig von Remy. The garden is bordered by the wing of the New Hofburg with the National Library, the Butterfly House and the Palm House, which was constructed in 1901. Today it serves as an attractive café-restaurant. The Burggarten is home to statues of Emperor Franz I., Franz Josef I. and Mozart.
